COLOR THEORY

The final project was designed to incorporate the different elements of color theory such as acceleration, deceleration, saturation, perspective, movement, value, tint, tone, and hue.

I enjoyed this project and found it very exciting to see the changes in perspective and perception of color with each additional step in this painting. I was intrigued by this in a photo and was even more intrigued as I did the process.

Can you see two peacocks in this picture? It is difficult, because your eyes detect the darker blue around the heads as a shadow and draw your eyes toward the lighter blue around their necks.
